The Boston Red Sox used 6 HRs to blast the Tampa Bay Rays 13 - 5. The Sox and the Rays are now in a tie for the AL East.The AL West kept the status quo with the White Sox losing to the Yankees 4 - 2 and the Minnesota Twins lost to the Cleveland Indians 3 - 1.
In the NL East, the Mets drop a game to the Nationals 7 - 2, cutting their lead over the Phillies to 1/2 game.
