Thursday Morning Quick Hitters

The Philadelphia Phillies will pursue their 1st World Championship for the time since their 1993 crushing defeat at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays. Jimmy Rollins got things going right off the bat with a leadoff HR and the Phills were off and running. The Dodgers could only muster a Manny Ramirez HR, going out on a whimper. The Phillies beat the LA Dodgers 5 - 1 and take the series 4 - 1.
