Coco Crisp is now a card carrying member of Royals Nation, as he was traded to Kansas City for right-hander Ramon Ramirez, at least according to Sports Radio 810 out of Kansas City. No comment yet from either the Red Sox or Royals.
The Celtics survived Mike D'Antoni's New York Knicks (and the mouth of Quentin Richardson) without Kevin Garnett 110-101.
The news of Dustin Pedroia's MVP award reverberated back to the Sea Dogs as well. Pedroia is the first Sea Dog to win a regular season MVP award.
The New York Islanders, who have a strong Maine connection thanks to their GM Garth Snow and goalie coach Mike Dunham, announced player moves yesterday.
Also a programming reminder, Matty, the editor-in-chief, will be live in studio on WJAB 96.3 FM this afternoon from 4pm-6pm with afternoon host Chris Sedenka. Should be a good listen and alot of fun for all involved.
We will also have a live episode on the Vortex tonight on 97.1 FM and online at www.wjzf.org. It will be from 9pm-11pm.
