Sure the economy sucks and times are rough, but if we need a place to draw some inspiration look no further than the New Jersey Institute of Techonolgy Men's Basketball team. The Highlanders, who went 0-29 last year, broke their 51 game losing streak by defeating Bryant college 61-51, their first win since they beat Longwood University on 2/19/07.
Jheryl Wilson lead NJIT, now 1-18, with 26 points helping to drop the Bulldogs to 3-16. Wilson and company will meet the Bulldogs again on February 17th at home in attempts to sweep the season series.
Meanwhile no one from Bryant College had any comments or want to be seen on campus.
