The voice of NFL Films and the Philadelphia Phillies, Harry Kalas, passed away today after collapsing in the booth of Nationals Park. Harry was 73 years old. A sad day for his friends, his family, and for everyone Phillies fan out there today.When I was a kid, stuck without cable, I used to tune in to 1210 AM once the sun went down, and Harry's voice was the one I always remembered. Guys like Harry, Vin Scully, Jack Buck, these are and were the voices of baseball. The world has lost another golden voice today.
Condolences to everyone in Harry's family (and that includes the Phillies family) and his friends.
