• The Maine Black Bears Baseball team had little trouble finishing off Holy Cross today in Sanford 10 - 4.
• The Boston Red Sox went extra innings again, beating the Cleveland Indians 6 - 5 in 10 innings. Jonathan Van Every hit his 1st Major League HR for the game winning hit in the Top of the 10th
• The University of Maine Football Team released it's schedule for the 2009 season.
