Two Mainers have been drafted, Regan Flaherty from Deering HS yesterday by Seattle in the 28th round, and Chris Burleson, a shortstop from USM, by Cincinnati in round 38. Carl Yastrzemski's grandson Michael was drafted as well, by the Red Sox in Round 36.
Oh and Pat White, you know THAT Pat White, formerly of West Virginia and now of the Miami Dolphins, got drafted by the New York Yankees in round 48. I don't expect to see him at Trenton anytime soon....
