- On a night where Fenway Park saw its 500th consecutive sell-out and fans got swag, Brad Penny pitched out of his own troubles on the way to the Sox 6 - 1 win over the Florida Marlins. There was concern for Penny when he took a line drive off the chest in the 1st, but he quickly recovered and still hit 97 on the gun.
