- Regan Flaherty from Deering was drafted by the Seattle Mariners yesterday.
- Former Portland Pirates goaltender Nathan Marsters was killed in a auto accident Monday in Ontario. Marsters was key in the Pirates run in 2006, ultimately losing to the Hersey Bears in the Eastern Conference Finals in 7 games.
- Our buddy Tim Rosenthal has posted part 2 of the Rosie Awards.
