The Boston Red Sox today announced that the club has agreed to terms with 13 players on the Major League roster on one-year contracts for the 2010 season. No further terms were disclosed.
The announcement was made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Theo Epstein.
Agreeing to terms were pitchers Daniel Bard, Michael Bowden, Clay Buchholz, Felix Doubront, Ramon A. Ramirez and Dustin Richardson; catchers Dusty Brown and Mark Wagner; infielders Aaron Bates, Tug Hulett and Jed Lowrie; and outfielders Jacoby Ellsbury and Josh Reddick.
With the agreements, all 39 players on Boston’s Major League roster are under contract for the 2010 season.
The Red Sox today also re-assigned outfielder Zach Daeges, a non-roster invitee, to minor league camp.
