The Maine Red Claws will proudly show their support for their NBA affiliate, the Boston Celtics, as the Celtics attempt to capture their 18th NBA championship. The Red Claws’ 15-foot inflatable “Giant Crusher” will be proudly displaying a “Beat L.A.!” sign while Crusher, sporting his own Celtics jersey, will also be on hand in Monument Square to encourage fans to root for the Red Claws’ parent club.
All fans passing through Monument Square wearing Celtics or Red Claws memorabilia will be eligible to enter to win a game-worn jersey from the Red Claws’ 2009-10 Celtics Affiliate Night.
Also tomorrow, the Red Claws will host a viewing party at Binga’s Stadium Smokehouse and Sports Bar located at 77 Free Street in Portland, joining Red Claws and Celtics fans as the Celtics take on the L.A. Lakers in game 6 of the Finals. Tip-off is at 9 PM, and fans in attendance will be eligible to win Red Claws prizes.
