Going into the season, many fans were concerned about the health of long time color analyst Jerry Remy. Those fears have been quelled as he hasn't missed a game this season (and had to cover for Don at one point), and it looks like he won't for awhile, as NESN announced today that Remy has agreed to a multi-year extension with the network.
“I feel I have the best job in the world broadcasting Red Sox Baseball" said Remy in the announcement.
Remy has been the team's color analyst for 23 years.

And here I figured Remy had a Wakefield like contract. Open ended as long as both parties wanted he would be there.
Sox games wouldn't be the same without Remy and Don.
