According to a quick blurb from JSOnline, Mt. Ararat's pride and joy Mark Rogers is unlikely to get a September call-up due to concerns about his workload.
Rogers, who had shoulder surgeries in 2006 and 2007, spent all of 2008 rehabbing and has pitched with a heavily monitored workload the past two seasons, last year with Single A Brevard County, and this year spending the majority of his time with the Double A Huntsville Stars. He has a 3.76 combined ERA between Double and Triple A this season, and is 5-8 with 106 strikeouts in 110 innings of work.
