HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL
Cheverus ran all over So Portland Friday Night, and RB Spencer Cook was at the forefront. Cook had an 86 yrd kick off return for a TD immediately after fumbling on the previous kick off. He also scored a rushing TD and was absolutely everywhere on the field.
Cheverus QB and S Peter Gwilym was every bit the force on both sides of the ball. Gwilym ran for a couple scores on offense and made play after play on D, especially on a monster hit on So Portland RB Billy Darling, that left Darling on the turf for more than 10 minutes. Darling looked shaken but was OK when taken off the field. Cheverus won 45 - 21

Not a great night for the Lewiston MAINEiacs as they lose big to the Quebec Remparts (why do I immediately think Emergency when I hear this team name) 12-3.
